Sprite-based Comics
Bob and George: The Comic Strip by David Anez The granddaddy of all sprite comics, even though it wasn't supposed to be. Brothers from a crudely-drawn dimension cross over into the Megaman Universe, where the Author's poor drawing skills are no longer a factor, and all hell proceeds to break loose.
194X by Aiken (Mirror Site) Tales of brave Soviet soldiers as they fight the Great Patriotic War... and how time travel has screwed things up royally. For example... the Australio-Canadian Alliance?? "War sucks... wear a hat."
Mega Geable by Andrusi (down, pending re-launch) More bizarre Mega Man sprite comic lunacy, usually rendered in the Wily Wars sprite style; also possibly the only comic to do a complete arc based on the WonderSwan game, with WonderSwan sprites.
Neko's House by Maneko The touching story of one bloodthirsty Tailmon and her efforts to reform one kleptomaniac Meowth, proving that love conquers all... except fanservice. TONS of fanservice, featuring a trio of crazy catgirls.
Otaku Revolution: Side Story by Mike Fitz-Gibbon My first (and only continuing) fanstrip - which is also linked on the StripWorks' front page. Mikers' own whacked-out takes on the people of OR, with heavy doses of anime parodies. Also features Penguin Chronicles, starring the members of the Penguin Liberation Army.
Ren's Comic Zone A virtual cacophony of comicy goodness, hosted by Ren "Foxx" Ramos.
Oddball Fancomics by Rick The first BnG fancomic, starring Rick, the usual Mega Man universe bunch, and a couple of Rick's more out-of-control creations. (Hasn't been updated in years.)
Plague's Misadventures by Plague Violence, mayhem, destruction, and heavy drinking, 21XX style, starring one of the most destructive forces ever released upon a comic strip, Maverick Hunter Plague. (This series is concluded.)
4 Frame Funnies by MetaSyke Another BnG fanstrip, featuring MetaSyke, Psychosis, Ran, the Cossack family, and several other author-characters. The home of ISOR - the Intergalactic Shack of Rancakes! (Hasn't been updated in years.)
The Primer Chronicles by Esper An original adventure starring Rockman, Blues, Roll, Forte and Ran, featuring the origins of Forte's sisters, Techno and Slider, and a devastating new foe, Allegro. Featuring art by Suraida-chan (creator of Slider). (This series is concluded.)
Nuklear Power, home of 8-Bit Theater If BnG is the granddaddy, 8-Bit Theater is the great-uncle. NES-era Final Fantasy adventurers get into all sorts of hijinks and hilarity.
Team Spirite by Psychosis (DISCONTINUED) Based upon the Team Fortress Military game, this short-lived strip featured Psychosis' Red Team as they tried to defend their flag from the sinister Blue Team... as well as from themselves. It's a shame Psy decided to end it... but the team lived on in OR:TS. (Thanks, Psy...)
Revival of Rock by Kamikazi101 (Discontinued, apparently) An intrepid band of musicians decide to resurrect the classic rock'n'roll sound amidst the musical wasteland of the year 2015. (Yes, it's an amazing coincidence.) However, Joe seems to have fallen off the face of the earth, as there's been no update since 2002....
Sprite Resources
Sprites Inc. The best, if not the most popular, Mega Man sprite resource page, covering all the Mega Man series. It's gone through revisions and ownership changes, but it's still an excellent source; if anything, the sprite sheets have been improved, and they've added custom sheets as well.
Rockman Robot Centre A large general-information site, with a boatload of custom MM7-style sprites (intended for reference purposes only).
The People's Sprites Featuring various game sprite and background rips, as well as various custom sprites.
Hand-drawn Comics
Plugged Nickel by Ronald MacKinnon The collegiate misadventures of an anthropomorphic beaver and his friends.
Trial and Error by Leslie Murray PezHed's erratically-updated strip, which has a lot of random stuff in it.
VG Cats by Scott Ransoomair They're cats... but they play video games!
MegaTokyo by Fred Gallagher Well, I figure... what the hell. "Relax, we understand j00."
Anime and Cartoon Websites and Message Boards
Temple O' Trunks Yes, Meri Cantoni lives, and she still updates this, one of the oldest fansites around, and still going strong.
Daizenshuu EX Mike "VegettoEX" Labrie's comprehensive DB fansite.
Arctic Nigthfall A site with a number of different anime resources, and a strong messageboard community. My second "home" community after BBA/OR, and my first "home" since the end of otakurevolution.net.
Gaia Online A massive anime roleplaying community, with custom avatars. A fun (and sometimes really addicting) place to hang out. Look for me as Kyoji Kasshu, or one of my female alternates.
Shadows of Nothing Created by veterans of the late Planet Namek community, SoN continues on with a message board as well as various fanworks.
The Unrivaled Source Originally the Unrivaled Dragonball Source, this site has since evolved to include much more.
Global Justice Alliance A Kim Possible website and community, started by former members of the Alternate Reality Association (much as OR was borne out of the BBA, actually). My "home" community, aside from AN, I'm currently most active on this board (although I have not shared my strips with these people as of yet).
Judsonian Judd's website; check out his Oekaki board.
Mecha Anime HQ Reference site for many popular mecha series, with loads of Gundam content.
Guilty Parties The website is actually music-based, but its message board inherited the old Otaku Haven forums. As of late 2007, undergoing a major overhaul before re-launching in 2008.
Ron Stoppable.net Arguably the largest KP fan community.
Anime Web Turnpike If you're looking for anime websites, this is the place to go (especially if you get a ton of Google results having nothing to do with what you're actually looking for). It's where it all started for me, anyway...
Miscellaneous Websites that I like
ESPN.com The latest sports news.
The Jim Rome Show The best national sports talk radio host, period.
CBC Sports Online - Hockey The official website of Hockey Night in Canada (on hiatus).
NHL Uniforms.com The ultimate reference guide to the uniforms worn by all NHL teams since the league's inception in 1917. And check out its sister site, WHA Uniforms.com.
Dictionary.com Some of you people really need to use this. Seriously.
Babel Fish by AltaVista Translates text between languages. It's far from perfect, but it can help in small doses.
LiveJournal For your blogging needs.
